Exhibition of works by Maria Prymachenko: Rescued
Today, an exhibition “Maria Prymachenko. Rescued” exhibition co-organised by the Peace and Kindness Foundation has opened in Kyiv.
This project is a unique and important event through which we want to draw the world’s attention to the war in Ukraine.
After all, during the full-scale invasion of our country, the invaders ruthlessly destroyed not only buildings but also our history.
The museum in Ivankiv, which housed Maria Prymachenko’s paintings, was completely destroyed on 25 February.
We managed to save all 14 paintings, and they are on display at the exhibition.
Our team has been helping those affected by military aggression since the first days of the war. The main areas of our activity are providing food to IDPs and refugees, as well as rebuilding destroyed social infrastructure. During this time, we have provided assistance to more than 7.5 million Ukrainians, visited the destroyed towns and villages of Ukraine, and saw with our own eyes the many disasters that the enemy has brought to our country, including damage to the cultural heritage.
For us, the project is an opportunity to draw attention to the reconstruction of the country and to continue to bring peace and goodness to Ukraine through joint efforts.
