Buy a ticket – warm a Child!

The official trailer for the Ukrainian feature film Region of Heroes by the author and general producer Oleksiy Komarovsky has been released. The film project will premiere exclusively in cinemas on 24 November 2022 in Ukraine. The proceeds from the screening will be used to purchase heaters for orphanages.

The film “Region of Heroes” is the first large-scale film reconstruction of real heroic stories of ordinary Ukrainians. The team dedicated this project to all the volunteers of Ukraine who have saved and continue to save thousands of lives at the cost of their own lives. The viewer will see a frank film confession about the events that took place in the very heart of the enemy occupation: in Bucha, Vorzel, Hostomel, Irpin and other towns and villages. Each heroic confession is not about one person and their story, but about thousands of Ukrainian volunteers who represent the unbreakable Ukrainian nation.

“The film’s protagonists are brave residents of the Kyiv region. And they are only part of a great heroic nation. They represent thousands of similar volunteer heroes across Ukraine. The Kyiv Regional Military Administration will continue to facilitate the filming of such patriotic film projects in the region and support the Ukrainian film industry as a whole,” said Oleksiy Kuleba, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

“Our film is dedicated to all volunteers in Ukraine. And it carries a charitable mission: “buy a ticket – warm a child”. And I invite everyone to the cinema, because the funds raised from the screenings will be used to purchase heaters for orphanages, as we are facing a difficult winter. Ukrainian cinema will warm not only your soul,” said the author and general producer Oleksiy Komarovsky..
