192 days – that’s how long the long-suffering Balakliya was under occupation.
After liberation from the enemy, a humanitarian crisis unfolded here, as residents were left not only without electricity, heat, water and communication, but also without means of subsistence.
Our team did not hesitate to start preparing for the trip. Yesterday, the volunteers of the “Peace and Kindness” Foundation arrived in the city and delivered humanitarian aid in the form of food packages, baby food and sweets.
The stories told to us by local residents who survived the occupation touch us to the core. Every resident of Balakliya is a hero! Sincere words of gratitude and frank conversations touched every member of our team. After visiting such places, you realise that you need to help more and more!
We urge everyone not to stand aside and continue to help Ukrainians! You can do this by donating any amount to purchase food parcels. Join us and let’s bring peace and kindness to Ukraine together!
